As July comes to a close, I can hardly believe how swiftly this year has flown by. I’ve focused on a variety of endeavors related to family and personal matters rather than my writing. But that’s okay.

I’ve completed my retro pillow.

I’m currently focused on knitting my Hermione socks and my camisole No. 9. In other news, my son’s friend came over and helped fix the ribber on my sock machine, so I’ve been experimenting with that too. I created a draft stopper, draft dodger, or draft snake/I’m not sure what to call it! Regardless, I need to make a few more before winter arrives. After that, I’ll dive into some of the sock yarn I have stashed away.

As July draws to a close, I eagerly anticipate what the second half of the year will bring.
