Dear Coterie,

I hope this email finds you all well! I wanted to provide a quick update on my editing progress. It’s been slower than I expected, as I’m balancing my writing with a focus on my health and family. As of the second full week of April, I’m about halfway through the first edit and making good progress. My timeline for publication is looking towards October, depending on how smoothly the editing goes.

Spring is finally showing signs here, albeit in a typical fickle fashion—one day we melt, and the next we’re back to snow flurries. Mud season is officially here. Yet, the number of birds I’ve spotted is truly inspiring! I’m hounding my husband to set up the hummingbird feeders. I can’t wait to see them flutter about.

In knitting news, I’ve had the adventure! Last month, I proudly showcased my finished Weronika Sweater. While it’s not super cropped, it used up every bit of the Knit Picks Impressionist I had. While working on my Pressed Flowers Cardigan, I dropped a stitch marker into the sofa, and lo-and-behold, I discovered an entire ball of yarn from the Weronkia hiding in there.

My sofa continues to be a cosmic void where all lost things go to hide—remotes, crochet hooks, and now balls of yarn!
