Later that evening, Seb knocked on her door. “I thought I’d share my winnings with you.” He said, holding the wine. “You know, so we have something to drink while we catch up.”

“How sweet!” Reine said, ushering him in. He popped the cork and poured them each a glass of bubbly.

They lied and her bed and sipped as they chatted. “Your bed is comfier than mine, favoritism,” Seb said. “I could fall asleep right now.”

“Hard same,” Reine replied, yawning. “That swim was nice but tiring.”

“I had a chat with Viv tonight. About how tough it is for a couple when we are so far apart. We’ve decided to make time just for the two of us to chat.” Seb explained.

“That’s wonderful, so that way, you are all caught up when you together so you can make the most of it,” Reine said.

“Exactly,” Seb grinned. “We still haven’t figured out how her new job is going to factor in, though.”

“I’m sure when the time comes, you’ll figure something out with Viv and Nicky,” Reine said.

“Oh, Nicky told you about Content Cast?” He asked.

“Yes, and I think you two should at least discuss it,” Reine said, “there may be more options than you think.”

“what do you mean?” Seb asked.

“I told Nicky to try negotiating with Content Cast to get what will make you feel comfortable,” Reine said.

Seb looked as if he wanted to object but then thought about it for a minute. “You know, that’s not terrible. I’ve been shutting Nicky down on it, but I should at least listen to what he has to say. Thanks.”

They sipped their wine in silence for a few minutes. Seb tugged on her arm. “Hey, so what’s up with you and Rafi?”

“Well, I liked him at the villa, but I loved Ciaran, so I didn’t investigate it,” Reine said. “He told me he still felt the same way, so I’ve been spending some time with him. He’s thoughtful and seems to understand what I need. He gives me space when I need it and cares about me enough to even take care of me when I’m drunk.”

“Wait, what?” Seb looked at her with raised eyebrows, “I’ve been missing a lot. I want to hear it all, and I won’t take no for an answer.”
