Rian finally fell into an exhausted sleep. Rafi had taken her to her room and headed to the kitchen for a drink. He picked his cell and called Seb. The phone rang, and Rafi hoped that Seb wouldn’t complain about the hour too much. It surprised him when Seb answered almost immediately. 

“Rafi, everything all right?” Seb asked.

“No, Theo died tonight. She’s taking it as well as expected. I wanted to let you know before you came back out. There won’t be a funeral, at Theo’s request. Apparently, he wanted a cremation with a celebration of life. Once I get the details on the arrangements, I’ll message you. Rian was totally prepared for the logistics, but the emotional stuff is hitting her hard. I can’t imagine what she’s going through. Her parents and then her brother…”

Seb’s intake of breath was followed by a few moments of silence before he answered. “Alright. Get me the details as soon as you can. I have an idea.” 

“I’ll keep you informed,” Rafi said.
