I don’t have that many, honestly. Though I admit I hold myself to a higher standard than others when it comes to my writing. 

Sometimes I write in a mix of America English and British English. I admit it’s due to how many people I converse with across the pond and the fact that I’ve been around both my entire life. It’s annoying when Americans point it out because they don’t know any better. Or even worse, when somebody decides they need to school me on the Queen’s English.

Another Pet Peeve is authors who don’t think about body placement during an action scene. Please make sure your characters don’t have 5 thumbs or aren’t contorted in a way that isn’t humanly possible. 

Story lines that lose the primary objective are another pet peeve. You can have a character change their aims as they learn something new about themselves. That said, I’ve read some stories where either I couldn’t find one or it seemed the MC forgot what their purpose was.
