One thing I find fun to do in my spare time is graphics. I know it has nothing to do with writing. In fact I never thought about it until Dragon Age Inquisition came out. I love the Dragon Age Series.There is such a great story with that game. In fact that was what brought me to writing in a round-about way but I digress.

When Inquisition came out I joined tumbler because I love using mods in those game after I play it once. They are fun. The modders took notice at how I was putting everyone’s mods together and posting them (attributing each modder of course). They suggested I learn how to mod.

I was resistant at first for a few reasons. I had just started writing fan fiction and I was getting a second bachelors in software engineering (my first was in music education). But they prevailed and I started getting lessons in graphic design and Photoshop from the modders some of which had degrees in design. I would do schoolwork all day and come home to write a bit before getting into the modding with my friends for the night.

I found out that I can’t draw well (I’m currently taking a class to get better) but I have an eye for textures and find it easy to create those myself. I ended up creating several mods for Dragon Age inquisition that are posted on Nexus Mods for anyone to download.

It’s fun to create things in my spare time (a-hem) not really spare time because we make time for the things we want to do. Anyway just for funsies I’ve decided to offer this pdf graphic to you. It’s a template for a cookbook. If you have any type of pdf program you can add pages and subtract pages and write on it to suit your needs. Metamoji or similar programs would work I think.
