Tracking Recovery: Half-Sick and Fully Committed to My Projects

I’m happy to say as I write this the third week of February, I’m finally on the mend. Whatever hellish sinus sickness I contracted had a mind of its own. After feeling like absolute poo for two weeks, along with my son, we thought we were on the mend and then it came back with a vengeance for fever and everything all over again for another two weeks. I had no voice much of the time.
Now that I can function again, I’m happy to say that even though things had gotten delayed, I’m getting back on track. I haven’t started editing as of this writing yet, but I plan to start soon.

On the yarny front, the only project I’ve been working religiously on my Weronkia Sweater. But as always, I’ve started a pair of socks. When I started them I wasn’t clear of mind (medication fog), so I opted for single color and textured socks using the Hermione’s Everyday Socks pattern.
Getting back to my routine, though delayed, is a comforting prospect. I anticipate editing and refining my writing. Knitting provided a manageable, enjoyable escape during difficult times.
This experience taught me the value of self-awareness, patience, and enjoying small creative victories. More writing and crafting updates are coming soon, and I’m looking forward to future inspiration. Thanks for joining me; wishing you health and creative success.
