I don’t even know where to start with this roundup. My head has been so full. Since I write all blogs a month ahead of time, I’m half-baked cake into the first revision of A Four-way Love Affair. I’m hoping to have Beta read ready to of July.

Knitting and crafting took a nosedive. The warmer weather is also making me not want to sit my menopausal body under an enormous rug. However, I finally decided it’s okay to put the larger/cold weather projects into hibernation till fall. The hearts table runner is complete. Yay! I started some new socks and a new top.
I don’t know if I mentioned this last month, but I started making kombucha, and it’s fantastic. Not to mention, the discovery of fruit kvass, which is even easier to make, is giving me something in between kombucha ferments. I’ve been enjoying both as a refreshing drink in the afternoons.

The weather has been very wet and I expect this summer to be colder and wetter than summers we’ve had in the past. The first year I moved to Maine, the summer was wet and cooler. It’s odd to see it rain every afternoon and after talking to several locals, they explained it happens every few years.
That is the recap of the month of June. I hope the warmer weather has brought fun days and outdoorsy things to you all.
