I dabbled in Ayurveda during and after the birth of my third child. So, when I saw this book on my Mastermind Group’s Reading List, it intrigued me. The authors share advice for a personalized schedule that helps you feel balanced and energized. Prioritizing sleep, meals, and daily rituals can change your life, as explained in “Change Your Schedule, Change Your Life”.

With stories, research, and advice, Dr. Kshirsagar and Seaton prove tiny adjustments can make a big difference in your well-being. This book provides tools for improving stress, fatigue, digestion, and breaking life’s routines.

Although, I don’t agree with their all-or-nothing attitude. There is no way I’m going through life without a bit of junk food here and there. I can see that changing your schedule and your eating habits to conform to the circadian rhythm could help you become healthier. As a “night owl” created from working nights and having a partner who impairs my sleep, we’ve taken to sleeping in shifts. I’m not usually awake before 11 am or asleep before 4 am. I’ve been able to make slight changes that allow me to fall asleep faster and get a more restful sleep. It’s also opened a dialogue between me and Mr. V about re-evaluating our sleep arrangement.
