Whew! It’s been one rough month. As I mentioned before, I write and set up my copy a month in advance. February is usually an awesome month for me, but this year my health took a hit. I have positional vertigo and, for some odd reason, it was acting up in the weirdest way. Only when I was lying down. I woke up twice to the world spinning in the middle of the night. It is the most awful nauseating helpless feeling because you can’t move. Not to mention it’s a terrible way to wake up. All of this background it to say that between the vertigo and getting new medications to control it I’ve been a loopy as my body gets used to it.

That’s why I gave myself a break on book reviews for March. I did some reading and crafting but I’ve been pretty scattered to write up reviews or editing “A Four-way Love Affair.” I hope by the end of March to be used to the new medication and able to focus on tasks at hand. On a successful note, the vertigo has subsided.

In fibery news, I finished my husband’s 2nd pair of boot socks, the corner to corner dresser scarf, and finally finished seaming up my “Be Mine” crochet cardigan.

I stopped on my Sophie’s Universe Afghan because I kept running out of yarn although I bought the kit. This was my doing because I didn’t swatch the starting motif. However, I’ve already bought another seventy-five dollars worth of yarn and still needed more. I’ve decided to use the yarn I have left and finish it because of the $275 investment I’ve already made. So hopefully I’ll have it as a completed project by April.

There has been progress on my 2nd modified Poppy Tee by Petiteknit.

In new projects, I’ve started a pair of boot socks for myself and tried my hand at filet crochet which I’m enjoying.
