‘Always You,’ written by E.A. Brady, is a heartwarming and captivating novel that takes readers on a journey of love, self-discovery, and second chances. With well-developed characters, an interesting storyline, and beautiful prose, Brady has created a story that resonates long after the last page.
‘Always You’ follows two protagonists, Poppy Hathaway, and Malcolm Ryder. Childhood friends who never acted upon their feelings for each other. When Poppy shows up on Malcom’s doorstep, it changes everything.
As Malcolm and Poppy navigate the complexities of their past, they grapple with unresolved feelings, regret, and the million “what if” scenarios that plagued their minds for years. Brady’s writing skillfully portrays their emotional journey, captivating readers with a seamless blend of past and present.
I have to say I really enjoyed this short novel. I read it in two sessions but probably could have done it in one. The format was well done, and the switching point of view was clear. The story was cute and steamy. Brady didn’t shy away from going into the bedroom with the characters. The scenes were titillating but not overtly pornographic. Just the right amount of sexy and romance.
Overall, I enjoyed this cute romance. The pacing was well done, and I never felt as if the story dragged. The characters were well thought out and well-developed. I plan on seeing what other books this E. A. Brady has written.
