Dear Coterie,
I hope you are safe and well. I am writing to inform you about a dark YA fantasy novel, “Wrath of Persephone,” by A.P. Mobley. The story is inspired by Greek mythology and follows the tragic story of Kore, a daughter of Demeter and Zeus. I don’t normally share YA, but I really enjoyed this read and wanted to share it with you.
Kore is a young and powerful spring goddess, living on Mount Olympus and enjoying her life to the fullest. However, her perfect world shatters when Hades, King of the Underworld, becomes infatuated with her and kidnaps her to become his wife. Hades changes her name to Persephone, robbing her of her identity and agency at once. To survive in the Underworld, Persephone must embrace the darkness and unleash her inner strength.

I believe that “Wrath of Persephone” will appeal to readers who enjoy dark fantasies like “Nevernight” by Jay Kristoff, “Daughter of Smoke and Bone” by Laini Taylor, and “A Court of Thorns and Roses” by Sarah J. Maas. The book blends mythology and vengeance in a fresh and engaging way. Click the graphic above to download your copy today.
Best regards,
Lady Velvet Peterson
