I’ve finished the book cover files and most of the front and back matter of my books. I’ve even started replacing them on some retail sites. So the rebranding is coming along.
I have written nothing, as the rebranding is taking up most of my work time, but I have a few new ideas for the Click Series.

There is some better news on the fibery front. I’ve decided to sell one of my spinning wheels because I no longer teach spinning at Adult Education.
She’s a pretty Hitchiker Wheel with one treadle (the one in the middle). Do four spinning wheels make a herd? A murder? Or a flock?
I have been working on crochet and knitting projects and even started some new ones.

My Side Split Pullover by Knitatude is nearing completion. I’ve finished the back and front, and it only needs sleeves.
My new project, Picovoli, is an older pattern created by Grumperina. I got it back in the early days of internet patterns from Mag Knits. I lost the pattern but luckily found it again on the Wayback Machine. The perfect yarn for this project was in my stash, so I cast on, choosing to do the picot edging on the neckline, sleeves, and hem. I might make more than one of these because they are such an easy knit.
For my last project, a few YouTube videos inspired me. I prefer function over form. But if I can make something pretty that is functional, all the stars align and angels sing. Okay, so maybe not, but I really enjoy it. YouTubers were making crochet flowerpots and filling them with coasters that, when they are in the basket, look like succulents or flowers. Adorable, and I’m a coaster freak, so this project was right up my alley. I grabbed my cotton yarn to get started but quickly realized that the pattern I was trying to imitate was made from much finer yarn than my worsted-weight cotton, so I stopped to regroup and figure out stitches and sizes I would need to use for mine, and hence the Crochet Succulent Basket was born. Photos are from the first attempt, where I was testing coaster sizes (the second had all coasters of the same size). I had so much fun creating and testing the pattern that a Crochet Flower Basket is also in the works. I’ll release both of them for free on the website.
