I’ve been working hard on Dear Mate. It’s been a busy week for me and my writing. Every week, I set myself a goal of writing a certain number of words. This is an anti-resolutions started in 2022. I limit my words daily because I learned something about myself that year.

Just because I can write 10000 words in a week doesn’t mean I should. I aim to keep my word count manageable weekly until my project is done. A lot of physical therapy was needed because I was sitting at my desk too long. This week, I managed to stick to my goal with a word count of 7,000 words! To help me stay on track, I use Scrivener, which allows me to organize my notes and outlines in one place. I’ve also started updating the Coterie Facebook Page with my progress.
