My favorite writing space is my office at home. It has a comfortable chair, a well-lit room, bookshelves, and plenty of natural light. I can even look out the window and see wildlife. Deer, turkeys, and other forest creatures regularly walk through the woods and yard. Even though my house is a loft type, the area is primarily free of distractions so that I can focus on my writing. I have my laptop hooked up to a dock and dual screens. This is where I do most of my writing. I also have a printer and a scanner to scan and print documents quickly. I use software like Scapple to brainstorm and storyboard to track my progress.

The room has a calming atmosphere, which helps me to stay focused and productive. I can easily switch between different writing tasks so I don’t get stuck on one project. My office is upstairs, so taking a break means leaving the area and moving my body. I have a mini fridge but haven’t decided what to put in there. My go-to drink (after morning coffee) is iced water.

My office is my favorite writing space because it’s comfortable and distraction-free. It provides the perfect environment for me to be creative. My desk is where almost everything happens. The chair is comfy, allowing me to focus for hours. I also use this place to play games and sometimes watch videos if Mr. V is away.
