She ran until she couldn’t run anymore. The world spun around her in a kaleidoscope of color and light as she fell into the field. She was giddy with the freedom she had achieved. Image by David Bartus on Pexels.

He wondered if he should have told her he was coming. They hadn’t seen each other since that fateful night. Taking a deep breath to quell his nervousness, he walked on. Photo by Immortal Snapshots from Pexels.

“Dinner is served.” She said with a smile. He had to admit it looked impressive as he sat down at the table. Little did he know he was getting a bit extra with dinner. This was only the beginning of her machinations. Photo by Valeria Boltneva from Pexels.

He quickly tilted her face to his and kissed her as if testing to see her reaction. The kiss was chaste, and he quickly pulled away to look at her. Without a thought, she pressed her lips to his, grazing his bottom lip with her teeth. He smiled against her mouth before capturing her lips again with purpose. He kissed her again and again. It was fiery, demanding, and promised so much more. Original photo by Snapwire on Pexels.

She made it. In fact, she was early. No matter, she would wait for him. The town and mountains were enshrouded mysteriously in the morning fog. Hearing a noise, she turned… Photo by Deden Dicky Ramdhani from Pexels.

He noticed the girl when he walked into the room. She was different than the others. She was polite and friendly to those around her and not in the “saccharine stab you in the back way.” Before he even thought about it, he was at her side. He had to meet her. “Excuse me, Miss. May I have this dance?” Original photo by Cottonbro Pexels.

Shawna took the bread from where it was cooling and walked over to the table. Dad beamed proudly, “That smells delicious. I can’t wait to try it.” Charles barreled into the room, inadvertently knocking into her. She stumbled and the bread went flying unseen by her brother, who immediately stepped on it.

The subway platform was crowded, and everyone seemed to be in a hurry to get home. Sarah stood at the edge of the platform a few feet away in an attempt to not get jostled. Suddenly she pitched forward! Sarah cried out and flailed in an attempt to regain her footing when she was grabbed by strong arms that righted her. “Thank you,” she murmured, lifting her head to look up at her rescuer. She was scared. As the darkness abated, she saw a figure standing in front of her. “It’s time.” She thought about it for a moment and grasped the stranger’s outstretched hand. She didn’t know what was going to happen, but she knew she could never go back. Photo by lalesh aldarwish from Pexels

“May I have this dance?” He asked, holding out his hand. A tango had just started. She smiled. The prospect of dancing to this type of music was exhilarating, to say the least. Before she knew it, they were whirling on the floor as if they’d danced for years. Their movements were graceful as they moved from one figure into another. As the song came to a close, he leaned in to whisper. “Keep your dance card free.” Photo by Pixabay on pexels.

Sara woke up with a start. The dreams had always plagued her. She was always running. She sat up, taking in vista around her. The sky was painted in purple and peachy hues, telling her it was sunset. Her work would begin once it was dark, but she could enjoy the moment for now. Picture by Pixabay on Pexels.

Deya’s jaw dropped when she saw Kassam and Jakub walking toward the limo. They were both dressed in suits. Jakub’s case was similar to the one he wore for the Love Island Prom. His physique was showcased in a navy double-breasted jacket and trousers. Kassam’s outfit was in black and the unusual suit jacket he had chosen accented his lithe form. Both men offered their hands to Deya to assist her with getting out of the limo, “You guys look amazing,” She said, smiling as she took both of their hands. “But what are you doing?” “We are making an entrance,” Jakub said, looking over at Kassam, who nodded in agreement. Anna felt someone watching her. She stopped to fasten her coat against the chilly night. However, the feeling didn’t abate. Squaring her shoulders, she glanced around. She refused to be intimidated by anyone. Photo by Elijah O’Donnell from Pexels.

They were bound to each other. So connected that she didn’t fear his depravity, and he reveled in her toxicity. Photo by Anastasiya Lobanovskaya from Pexels.

This trip was precisely what he needed. To get away and figure out what he needed from life. Relaxing in this place, he reached clarity. Once he returned, he would tell her. Photo by Alex Azabache from Pexels.
